Stress at Work

Whilst it is important that your employees experience challenges within their work that cause levels of pressure that, up to a certain point, can improve performance and the enjoyment of their role; if pressure becomes excessive, it loses its beneficial effect and becomes harmful and destructive to health. Many employers feel a lack of control when trying to manage stress at work and whilst you can’t control everything in the work environment, it doesn’t mean you’re powerless.

 

It is important organisations realise that excessive or sustained work pressure is likely to cause stress and could lead to anxiety, depression and of course absence from the work place.
